Doutify operates strictly as a client-side tool. All processing happens locally on your device or directly between your browser and the Douban Music website (https://music.douban.com/). We do not have any servers that receive your data, nor do we use any third-party analytics or tracking services.

Permissions Usage

We request the minimum set of permissions necessary for Doutify to function:

• storage: Used to save your local preferences (such as your client ID/secret configuration) directly in your browser. This data is never sent to us.
• activeTab / Host Permissions (https://music.douban.com/*): Used solely to interact with the Douban Music "New Subject" page to autofill album information. This interaction is local to your browser session.

Third-Party Services

This extension interacts with:

• Douban: When you use the extension to query or fill information, it communicates directly with Douban's servers as if you were browsing the site normally.
• Spotify (Optional): If you use features that fetch metadata from Spotify, the extension communicates directly with Spotify's API using the credentials you provide.

We do not act as a middleman in these communications.
